Yvette has served on the City Council of Gaithersburg for the past six months with concern, compassion and committment. She is asking for your vote on November 7th to retain her seat on the city council.
Yvette has served in the Gaithersburg community for the past seven years in various capacities; it is evident that Yvette loves the city in which she calls home. She has long since been civically engaged as she was a campaign worker for long-time county advocate Jane De Winter in her bid for County Council years ago. Her own personal journey to the council began as a member of the Educational Enrichment Committee, then moved to the Olde Towne Advisory committee. She served on the 30th Annniversary "Celebrate Gaithersburg" and has also participated in numerous city held events some of which include: Holiday Giving, Book Festival, Olde Towne Day and has served as an election judge. Yvette was named the Gaithersburg 2016 Distinguished Citizen.
Yvette would like to continue to serve the community as your Council member to ensure your priorities of neighborhoods, schools, businesses, environment, places of worship and more are addressed with concern, compassion and commitment. As she has been spending time with those in the community listening and finding out their greatest needs; it is clear that it takes all of us working together to make the difference in the place we call home. Yvette will continue to work to be your voice in this city with excellence, responsibility and dedication and she looks forward to doing it one person, business and community at a time.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by the site. Yvette looks forward to serving you and seeing you around town!
